Whisky Glasses
Buying the right glass to enjoy a fine single malt is an important thing. The right glass should have a tulip shape to allow the whisky to breathe and to concentrate the smell in the neck.
The classic whisky connoisseur glass is not a flat tumbler.
Water Jug

Water jugs are not strictly necessary, many people like to add a small amount of water to their whisky to soften them. This is particularly important with cask strength whiskies as they almost have a jekyll and hyde taste difference with and without a drop of water.
This can really make a huge difference to the flavour and your ability to pick out the individual tastes and smells of a whisky.
